Preserving the Legacy of Butokukan in South Asia
A am deeply honored and proud that my parent organization in Japan is the Japan Karate Education and Research Association, Butokukan, established in Shimane Prefecture in 1982.
Butokukan means “Hall of Martial Virtue.” It teaches us that true strength is not only physical ability, but character, discipline, humility, and integrity.
With heartfelt respect, I express my gratitude to my Japanese masters:
* Shigeyoshi Shinichi Kanchō Founder
* Michihara Shinji Sensei – President / Grand Master
* Harada Mamoru Sensei – Advisor
* Mishima Shin Sensei (7th Dan)
* Miyazaki Junichi Sensei (7th Dan)
* Funaki Hiroshi Sensei (7th Dan)
Through their guidance, I continue to follow the true path of Karate-Do.
I am honored to hold:
8th Dan – Japan
Sri Lanka Karate-Do Federation .5th Dan
Certified Referee – World United Karate Federation (WUKF) 5th Dan
Member of Sri Lanka Karate Federation and Japan Karate-Do Shotokan Study Association
As South Asian Chief Instructor, my mission is to preserve authentic Japanese karate, promote proper teaching methods, and guide the next generation with discipline and strong character.
Karate begins and ends with respect.
With deep gratitude, I continue this journey with pride.
